PLANT SALE—MAY, 2025

The garden club plant sale had many challenges this year. On Friday, plants donated by members were organized under a steady downpour. The following morning, members raised the canopies against strong winds that eventually caused a “Mary Poppins” scene with tents becoming airborne. Even so, a steady flow of customers purchased a variety of perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, and patio pots.

Also offered for sale were many handcrafted items, just in time for Mother’s Day gift-giving and a table full of gently-used garden books and decor.

A large raffle basket full of garden items attracted attention the attention of many shoppers.
