Beverly Follis, the current President of the Norwalk Garden Club, was presented the prestigious Tribute Award by the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut at their October, 2025 awards meeting. The Tribute Award in Communications honors Beverly’s outstanding contribution to her garden club. As the historian for the club’s centennial year of 2024, she researched the club’s 100 year history and authored a beautiful chronicle, “Norwalk Garden Club 100 Years, 1924-2024,” focusing on the club’s contributions to the community. The compelling story of the beginning and early days of the Norwalk Garden Club through present day, includes historic photos, biographies, and accounts of beautification, philanthropic, and educational activities. A copy of the publication is available at the Norwalk Public Library.
