The Garden Conservancy is a national organization that offers a program for visiting the best private gardens in America. During Open Days in May and June, hundreds of gardens across the U.S. are open to the public for viewing and several of those are in Fairfield County. On May 31, 10 to 4, there are four gardens open—Prospect Gardens in Westport, Flourish Farm of Silvermine in Wilton, Ann & Haig’s Garden in New Canaan, and the Garden of Kathryn Herman in Fairfield; on June 7, 10 to 4, Green Farms Botanical Garden in Westport.
